Braila
The city of Braila is located in the south-eastern part of Romania, Muntenia region, on the left bank of the Danube and is among the oldest cities of Romania, being positioned at the intersection of three historical provinces: It is about 22 km from the city of Galati, which translates to about 20 minutes by car. Visiting both cities becomes very easy.
Many communities have found their place since ancient times, one of the most numerous being the Russian Lipoveni. Since the time of the Geto-Dacians, the Greeks settled here, another, but not very large community. Certainly, Braila represents a cultural, religious and ethnic mosaic, a model of coexistence between different communities, a city worth visiting at any time.
